At 2:45 p.m., Newark police received a report of human remains found on the 400 block of Elizabeth Avenue, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens, II and Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé said. The unidentified body was officially pronounced dead soon after, Stephens and Fragé said. The cause of death is pending an autopsy, Stephens and Fragé said
